WHISKEY UNIFORM

A Whiskey Uniform
Is a lonesome cowboys armor
Boots and hat are required
You break the starch
On a fresh pair of denim wranglers
Tuck your shirt in just right
Strap your belt and buckle on

So tonight I’m gonna put on
My Whiskey Uniform
Head out on the town
And drown my mind
I’m gonna party like a rock star
And tie one on
And try to get over your memory for the night

Well the day
That you left me
It chilled me to the bone
I didn’t know which way was up
Or which was down
But with this uniform
Some bar lights whiskey and beer
I’ll me a life for the night
And make some memories of my own
