THREE AT A TIME

Why do I always find the right one
Three At A Time
If I could only pace myself
I’d slow it down and not lose my mind
If it wasn’t for the dry spells
I’d hone it down to one at a time
But I always find the right one
Three At A Time

It never fails when I go out
On the town for fun with some friends
I always wind up standing at the bar alone
Why they’re all cashing in
I’ve never been so successful
When it comes to female persuasion
But every once in a while
I turn a glance into a smile
And it seems that it won’t end

Now I know it may sound selfish
To say that this is what I expect
But when you go alone for so long
You take what you can get
Now I’m not one to play the field
But I’d rather not sit home alone
So when I get the chance
I’m gonna choose to dance
And hope that she’s the one
